Hillary is a living caricature of a corrupt politician, had the republicans put up a halfway qualified/competent candidate she would have lost by an even greater margin. By FiveThirtyEight's count, the Comey letter cost Clinton 3 points in the polls. That's higher than the margin that Trump won by in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
