The good news is we have a president who keeps his word.

The bad news is it's Donald Trump.

<_<

mexico is paying for it?

NAFTA 2.0 is a start.

NAFTA 2.0 is basically NAFTA but with Trump's signature. Barely anything changed, just the bare minimum to enable him to attach his name

I can tell you dislike Trump, however I wouldn't call it the bare minimum. The guy is a business man and this should make every American happy. This is only 1 aspect of the deal.

https://www.mercatus.org/publications/higher-de-minimis-thresholds-canada-mexico-us-small-business

everything i've read suggests that its essentially NAFTA with some tweaks that doesn't reallly add or loose anything compared to the previous deal. essentially just trump again showing that he loves to put his name on things.

irregardless, how exactly is that mexico paying for a wall? none of the money involved by usmca goes to the treasury, its private money.
