this often doesn't matter though. in some states in america, even if you find out its not your kid, they make you pay for it, if it's been a long enough time. I remember some guy was led to believe a woman had his baby. so he pays child support for years. then somehow they found out the real father......and the government said "you accepted fatherhood. keep paying, fuck you. we don't care about the dna test"
