Only one I've seen is Metropolis, and you'll have to forgive me for gushing here but it RULED. You kinda have to expect that a movie filmed 91 years ago in Germany that still manages to maintain relevance had a lot of good stuff going on and it definitely does. Applying the concept of the story of Job to class warfare was something I never would have thought of but it totally works. It plays both sides of the concept fairly--both human in the good and the bad ways--and notes that God's mediator descended to us and not the other way around. In addition to great thematic content, it has killer directing (the machine scene in particular), special effects decades ahead of their time, plenty of excellent emotive work from the actors (Freder in particular), believable character development and realy good music. 10/10 film. --- 53 LIII 0b110101 p16 0x35 ...
