Alright, I can spell it out I guess. I'm female. I bleed every month. This month I bled twice because I took plan B and it fucked everything up. Less than 5%, maybe even less than 1% of female public restrooms have pads or tampons for purchase or free. So when you say that people need them, what are you talking about? When you say some trans person may benefit, the cost is almost certainly more than the benefit, and you're not fulfilling any need, so what are you doing?

Signaling a virtue. You're signaling to them that you care. I honestly think that's pretty worthless but I said it's a harmless virtue signal which it is. But don't lie to yourself and pretend you're solving a problem that existed for them. It didn't and it doesn't.

Why would you be against more sanitary pads being provided then

Like this article isn't saying "we decided to give trans people sanitary pads instead of real women, because we like them more". It's just saying they're providing more sanitary pads. What is the problem?

This is like being mad that the hotel you stayed at provided complimentary shower gel that smelled too masculine or something
