In circumstances of limited data, err on the side of stasis, in this incidence people have made the change without sufficient data, and afterward failed to gather evidence again. I don't particularly care one way or the other as it doesn't effect me, but I really dislike mindless pandering trying not to hurt fee-fees.

You call it a concern or a prediction. Reality is it's an irrational fear. Many people who hold that stance aren't interested in finding evidence but instead trying to "prove" their irrational fear.
