I have a car yet it's been a while since I last touched it (besides reversing 10 feet to a better parking space a couple days ago). I don't drive unless I have to. I hate driving. It's a pain to look for parking even though I'll be at my destination 10-30 minutes earlier than if I went on public transit.

But having a license is incredibly useful to have. If you travel, you need a passport, to get a passport, you need a license, be it your own or someone else's. It also opens doors to more job positions and you're guaranteed to not have problems when you need a valid ID.

^Darmik, I got my license at 24 and my first car at 26, and I only bought my car because I needed it for work. I can sympathize.
