unfortunately theres still potential risk of it happenin even with a female roommate

men have also been known to refuse female roommates in order to avoid drama with awkward situations, territorial bfs, bratty kids, false accusations, etc

livin with unrelated roommates can be risky for anybody because its a fragile environment affected by the changes of not one but multiple people who want different things, some people try to protect themselves by bein more cautious with who they live with

you can call it paranoid, but i can't really blame them for tryin to be careful about where they sleep
