I thought people would be a least a little more wary of "X OF CONFIRMED TOWN" after last time I mean it's bound to happen where you play a game where you're completely right then another where your "confirmed town list" is very wrong. Nature of the game, and it's not like last game was the first game for most of us. But this right now is just a case of Scare being Scare, though I'm inclined to believe he's town because of it. Then this post which is... fluff defense of book of confirmed town? Or explanation for failure? Then just kinda handwave for Scare and puts a loose Townread on him. Before I made my posts on Reg and Eaed, I felt more confident on Terra, so I think my gut is more convinced than my brain. But my gut is usually right so shrug No complaints, just an observation. And explanation doesn't equal an excuse. And to the second point, deeming that post fluff doesn't make much sense. I was justifying the principal of making a reads list, and that no one but scum knows each player's alignment so you're almost guaranteed to be wrong at some point, this much is fact. And I thought the Scare read was more evident since most of us here have played with him, but at the time it was a reference to him actually reaching out and playing and scum hunting rather than lurking and waiting to respond to someone taking the initiative first as I've seen him frequently do as scum. To a lesser extent the referenced "book of confirmed town" which is definitely a pretty bold action coming from him this early as scum are often slower to pull the trigger on "confirming" others as town. Red looked better to me upon rereading for similar reasons. He actually seems invested from the jump unlike the times I've seen him as scum. Plus early breadcrumbing and of a very specific character definitely give him a pretty big edge. IGCD people are definitely looking too much into. Fluff and shitposting in the early game are nothing new to him in particular. And if you actually read his posts, they're interspersed with some level of intent to play as we should such as calling out eaed and plum. Doesn't help that none of the votes on him look particularly good to begin with.
