Topic	SMASH: a new challenger approaches!

I dunno if you count Paper Mario as a separate franchise, but it still baffles me that he's not in Smash. I mean he's got the hammer, the spin, the spin jump, the ground pound, all sorts of weird paper moves (the airplane would probably be his recovery), PARTNERS, etc. Plenty to differentiate him from vanilla Mario. Nintendo has had plenty of characters more closely associated with their brand to choose from for a long time. Instead, we got a bunch of swordfighters from a JRPG for tweens.
