Why aren't they comparable? The expression has been commonplace in America because America has been predominantly Christian since its inception. If anything you're just highlighting how casually we as a society take christian blasphemy whereas the very thought of making fun of Islam has to be put in a special "off limits" category. so...words arent just words then?
