Those who didn't participate in the original project could vote in a way that might change the overall winner. For those who did participate in the original project, they could make significant changes to their list to sabotage certain Pokemon that finished higher than they expected. At least re-doing Gen 7 means we could get more people who didn't participate in the original project because they didn't play any of the Gen 7 games at the time of the original project.
