The thing about that is machines can't fix themselves. People always say "omg the self checkout is gonna put me outta a job!" No people. Whenever the machine jams up or the circuits get fried they don't have the magical ability to fix it. Which is why the human is still working the self check. People freak out over nothing. We've seen this before.
