Because let us be real the site isn't needed anymore. There are better places to find info and help. Man I remember when we constantly got over 100.000 votes per match! However myself and I guess most other people will never leave here as long as the site exists. As recent as 2015 we were getting those epic vote totals. Granted it was due to Undertale, but still. Undertale vs Melee was actually the second most popular match ever.
