I liked that little story where every single person from the beginning of humanity is actually a single soul getting reincarnated into a different person across time and space infinite times. Every time a person dies, the soul goes up to God and has a very brief chat with him for ten to fifteen minutes before God kicks it back to the world into a newborn baby at some random time period and location. Coincidentally, the soul always remembers nothing about its past lives so God gets a kick out of telling it about the process every time it comes back and watching its astounded reaction.
