Its considered to be one of the most haunted places in the world. I took a tour of it after I learned that I didnt live too far away and I also have a little anecdotal evidence to support that theory. Its also the set of Dumb and Dumber and Jim Carrey was supposed to stay there during filming. Apparently he stayed one hour and then demanded to be switched to a different hotel. He wouldnt set foot inside it again unless necessary for the film and he refuses to talk about what frightened him so badly.
