i dont want to tag darkman because i think he hates it, but what do you think about the nuclear deal?

the nuclear deal was a necessary part of our long-term ABM strategy, one most are aware was unlikely to last long-term, but provided critical shorter-term breathing room that trade restrictions simply would not accomplish.

the ABM program is not useful in stopping a massive first strike from russia or china, but it is quite useful in nullifying the smaller arsenal of a newly minted nuclear power. it means that the political advantage of nuclear arsenal against US power projection is essentially nil.
