LOOOOOOOL I've been doing everything from stupid web apps, to mobile apps, to embedded development, to machine learning, to cloud services, and more. My experience runs all over the place. While there are bursts of fun and creativity it always ultimately results in boredom. It's inherent in any job. You may be able to escape by building your own business, but then you're just dealing with another set of clients and now you've taken on a shit-ton of risks. The only real solution is to retire so you can work on whatever you feel like working on and abandon projects (temporarily or otherwise) you don't feel like working on anymore. No deadlines, no shitty projects, and no clients with sometimes really stupid requirements. The dream job is a myth. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
