The murder was not justified. But if there was a legal protection for unwilling fathers to disown their responsibility, a "legal abortion" as it's sometimes called, he wouldn't have had any reason to care about the hidden pregnancy in the first place. I strongly support a woman's right to choose whether she wants the responsibility and burdens of becoming a parent. I also strongly support a man's right to choose whether he wants the responsibility and burdens of becoming a parent.
