Yes, their cognitive abilities lessen, but given that they are working, they are more productive at that job than if nobody was working there. Unless the argument is that we all work 24-hour work weeks and they just ramp up their employee base, but then how will we afford to live? We'd need aid. Profit incentive here doesn't directly care about their health, either, so their cognitive abilities and health being hurt is largely irrelevant.
