| SpiralDrift 12/08/18 8:33:11 PM #21: | I think it really just started off as a subtle metaphor for how girls grow up and break free of the psychological control of their mothers but it got a little assbrained as it went on. Metroid 1-3 is basically about a girl trying to break free of her mother's brain but can't do it until she has a child of her own. Once that story was told it's like where can they go from there?
