Zelda either beats them both, or loses to them both.

There is NO situation I can envision in which she loses to Mario and then beats Samus.

Unless you are on mega drugs and think Snake or Sonic is gonna beat Samus.

So they either face each other in the losers Bracket after Zelda knocks Mario down, or they face each other in the losers bracket after Mario loses to Link and Samus beats Zelda
