The UK, however, absolutely is realizing how much they would be fucked on every level if they left the EU. Their an island nation with little to no resources that would find itself getting fucked over repeatedly if the hard Brexit happened. And it shouldn't be shocking that they can't get their act together. When your whole "leave" strategy revolves around the far left and far right coming together to vote "leave", but then have to work together to develop some kind of resolution on what that actually means, it would never work.
