Yes, it's a shitty cartoon B-movie. Or whatever's below B-movie. It also retcons the established fact in the song that grandma dies, rather than just being injured - they apparently claimed that the song is open-ended and that beyond getting hit Grandma's fate is ambiguous, but I think lines like "It's not Christmas without Grandma / All the family dressed in black / And we just can't help but wonder / Should we open up her gifts or send them back?" make it pretty clear she's dead - if she was alive, you'd hold on to her gifts until she recovered and could open them.. Ignoring, of course, that the movie wasn't made by the creators of the song (I don't think, anyway) and so can't really "retcon" it as such, it's pretty much a glorified fanfic. ---
