Do you know how many people I've seen lose their factory jobs due to layoffs, or entire plants shutting down to move to other countries? These are some of the best paying jobs for people without an education, and have been for a long time, but they're disappearing before our very eyes
aren't you one of those people who laughs when coal miners get laid off and shit? just like yall say about that, "go learn new skills and remain relevant"
we've known for decades that the economy is no longer an economy where you work at the same dead-end mind-numbing job for 40 years before you collect a pension.
You must have me confused with someone else. I was pretty much born and raised in the culture of blue collar work, so I understand and empathize with the plight of these people quite well. It's no longer my cup of tea, but I'll never look down on those that live by it.
The problem is that our system isn't set up to accommodate the people displaced by a shrinking number of manufacturing jobs. Factories are the lifeblood of many small to medium sized Midwestern towns, and when they shut down, you could be looking at 1000s of people all trying to flood into every other labor market in the area
Proudclad has no earthly idea what he's talking about whenever he accuses people of doing certain things lol. He'll randomly accuse some person he's never spoken with of being against capitalism
Yeah that much is definitely obvious
Kinda brings everything he says into question if he can't even fact check before slinging shit at other users ---
