| 1337toothbrush 12/01/18 12:08:38 PM #167: | A couple of things I want to comment on after reading through the topic: 1) Coal miners wanting to work obsolete jobs is not the same as people wanting to get a living wage for spending 40+ hours of their time every week on useful and necessary work. If you're dedicating about half your life (since sleep doesn't count as "leisure" time) to work, then you should be paid enough to live comfortably off of it. 2) Living with your parents to save money is perfectly fine. It's more efficient to bundle people together than to have each person in their own house. Whatever extra used by the one additional person is not much compared to the full bill. It's not mooching, especially since they're your parents. Families should be taking care of each other, not trying to kick each other out as soon as possible. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
