He's not saying you should work that much.

He's saying that if you want to change the world, spending 80 hours a week is the price you pay in order to be able to do the amount of stuff required to get that far ahead.


Yes, we know what he says to attempt to justify overworking people at his company.


Anyone working at one of Elon Musk's companies could find a great job pretty much anywhere whenever they want. The majority work a lot because they want to, as it is fascinating and stimulating stuff you won't find anywhere else.

SpaceX and Tesla are both revolutionizing their respective industries.
