I wonder what would be different By the time the bomb was finished being developed Germany was already overrun by the Soviets and Hitler was dead. So USA would be at war with Soviet and most likely win, now think of a world without the cold war. We considered the Soviets our allies at the time, so no, that would not have happened. Public perception of the USSR didn't drop until the late 40s.
