I was a little shit to my family and eventually did some immoral things like stealing gold from my uncles account (fake currency, but the principle still applies). Know what my parents did? Grounded me. I wasnt playing for at minimum two months. I was sitting down with anyone Id been a jerk to and apologizing for my behavior. I was spending more time with the family. Even with the gold, once I started playing again, every virtual cent was going to my uncle until I paid him back with interest. I felt the withdrawal for like maybe a day or two and then I was actually happier than I was when playing. Eventually when I got back into it, I was never addicted like that again.
