Heaven forbid anyone try to understand the rise of Nazism with any semblance of nuance though. Of course they were evil bastards but that doesn't suffice as a historical explanation. Something that I never like discussing about Nazi Germany is trying to contextualize their society at the time, even from a neutral standpoint.
