Topic	How good generally is a Ryzen 5 laptop with AMD Vega 8 for gaming?

But if you don't mind being capped to probably 720p and maybe having to turn down the fancy settings a bit, the Vega 8 will probably do the job. It won't be amazing, but it should at least allow you to play some games. I'd honestly suggest though, look for a slightly older machine among stores' clearance deals.
