My advice would be to do well in high school or else you will spend most of your 20s trying to make it up (I spent my first three years without a high school diploma and I've spent 5 years so far at my local community college earning two different associate degrees). Of course, my assessment score was bad going into college so I had to take a lot of derpy classes basically making up for high school. Meanwhile, some kids are going from high school straight into a university. That's how it should be done.
