Sometimes they have some interesting documentaries and I keep it for the kids tv. Which streaming services are you subscribed to? Netflix, Amazon Prime and the Arrow Video channel on amazon prime How many movies do you think you see every year? this year I've watched 162 so far How many times do you go to the theater to see a movie every year? not often, I'd like to but I don't have a good cinema locally How often do you watch movies made before 1970? Quite a lot, mostly from the 60s. How often do you watch non-English language films? The majority of films I watch are in a foreign language How often do you watch movies with a female lead? Unsure. Of the last 10 I watched 9 had a female lead. Did you like The Last Jedi? Yes. It's my favourite Star Wars film Are you a subscriber to the auteur theory? I'm familiar with it but don't think about it too often Do you have a favorite movie genre or least favorite movie genre? Not sure. I keep dipping in and out of the Japanese Pinku genre, on the surface it looks like softcore porn but there was a lot of depth to it in the 60s and 70s Is television better than movies these days? Definitely not Is your favorite director one of Chris Nolan, Denis Villeneuve, Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, or David Fincher? No. I really can't stand Nolan Do you differentiate between best movie and favorite movies? Most of the time. Like there's some films I like that would probably be considered sloppily made or incompetent but they still hold a place for me as favourites What are your five favorite movies?
