Well yes, I assume it's his Yami Yami no Mi that "absorbs" the negative effects of a Devil Fruit and thus allow him to hold two. I was merely wondering if he could give that absorbing power to other people as well, so that everyone in his crew could have multiple Devil Fruits.
I could also be thinking too far of course, those chicks might just pretend to love Catarina Devon because she'll kill them otherwise. ---
