I doubt any US president would go to war with SA. Hell theres always been talk that they were a big reason 9/11 happened and they suffered ZERO consequences.

Trump himself is deeply compromised with them. His own intelligence agencies will quickly and factually conclude that SA is guilty of many things theyve come under fire for internationally. Trump will still back them until the end.

Khashoggis death? He says it was rogue agents because it puts 0 blame on MBS.
War in Yemen? He blames Iran for all of the massive casualties there.
SAs massive retaliation after Canada voiced concerns about human rights violations? Were staying out of it. Because the leader of the free world is supposed to stay out of that kind of stuff, sure.

All Trump cares about is the business side of it. MBS and Jared Kushner are best buds. Its an important business relationship. All Trump could talk about after Khashoggis death was how many billions of dollars of weapons he was selling the Saudis. He has a hotel in Saudi Arabia, and suspiciously the country was left off of his Muslim travel ban despite the fact that 15/19 of the 9/11 hijackers were from SA.
