Topic	Your apartment is burning. You can only save ONE: Your dog, or a random baby.

You would most likely not even know about the baby until you left your apartment with the dog and baby. So, you would literally be putting your dog in the flames to pick up a random baby. Thats if you went in. Im not sure I would even want to open any doors in a burning building.
