Just wanted to say something very shocking

I feel like the difficulty is just right
BUT! this is only if you follow some rules-

1.Ditch the starter. Eevee is super broken. I don't know if starter Eevee is different from a regular one but it sure feels like that. He is like Lillipup in early BW with post-buff Tackle being 50 BP with STAB, wrecking shit apart in the early game
But unlike Lillipup, Eevee is broken for thr whole game. You get Headbutt early. What you shouldn't headbutt, you Double Kick. And what yoi can't do either, you Bite

2.Avoid the starter special moves. This is an extension of 1 so if you avoid using Eevee you can avoid this. But this one is even worse. 90 BP moves from every element with 100% ACC and extra effect. Plus you change them at will to fit your need. Avoid at all costs

3.The Pokemon Amie bonuses. I Don't know if they are avoidable, tbh. I think you get them from friendship
They are broken, evading attacks at random, holding to 1hp, healing status...

4.Do not grind. At all.
I know it sounds like a tip for every easy RPG but it's a very important rule here
Battles barely give exp...but catching gives bazillion of exp. You can level up 5 minutes above the average in just 10 minutes, it's vrazy
Only catch what you don't have in the dex

Follow those points (and tell me if there is a way to avoid rule 3) and you will have a fair challenge
