| Oaklight 11/19/18 2:48:53 PM #86: | Super hero stories are basically the modern mythology that inspire people and teach moral lessons etc. I'm pretty sure plenty of intellectuals thousands of years of years ago thought that Homer's Illiad and the Odyssey or the Epic of Gilgamesh were just silly children's stories filled with things that cannot happen in the real world. What Maher fails to understand is that people don't watch Super hero movies to replace intellectual films. People look to mythology and superheroes as a form of entertainment and escape from the cold and mundane realities of daily life. --- He's covered from head to toe in weaponry.
