TopicI know it is done to death, but how can piracy really be justified?

I would also extent that somewhat to copyrighted material in general but you see things like novels, free works, etc, being sold yet freely and legally available


Funny thing is when you buy a novel, you can do whatever you want with it, it is yours.

You can write over the pages. You can give it to a friend. You can sell it.
You can lend it to be read by friends.

With games, they hide behind licenses to take away true ownership from the buyer.

They have it both ways with this.

If the disc breaks, it's not like they will send me another one for free even though they should by this logic. The disc is what broke, not my "license."
