TopicI know it is done to death, but how can piracy really be justified?

While stealing is not the best word since no product has actually been stolen, the illegal useage of the product by foregoing the licensing agreement is not. All games are licensed to you. Not buying this is illegal and breaking the contract that users of the product are supposed to abide by. This contract is enforced by the law, as failure to obey result in an unprofitable Business where these products are just a waste of money.

The only exception i can think of is Roms, as they are simply public domain until companies enforce their claim on them Imo. Fanmade games unfortunately fall under the same category, but if companies aren't fucking stupid, they would recruit the fans depending on the quality, sell the product as an unofficial spinoff, and give a kickback to the developer.
