I have no desire to be unique or cool on CE. Pushing 40, I feel I am well past the age where I could appeal to what this crew thinks is cool. I support transgender people because I'm not an asshole, and I'm just looking to input my opinion. Furthermore, I hardly think my opinion is "mindless", whatever you think that means in this context.

I was very clearly backing gunplagirl's post where she stated that this was a four year old article, meaning it's not a current issue, and furthermore that injuries do happen in MMA fights. Fallon Fox hasn't even fought since 2014.

Also, I call out CE more-or-less across the board for its dislike and distrust of transgender people in general.

I agree with what gunplagirl said on that as well: people who make these kinds of arguments are not actually pro-LGBT. They're apathetic at best and don't have a good argument otherwise until the topic of sports comes up. Then at that point, there's no desire to look into what goes into making sports as fair as possible so transgender people can compete. They're the same people that say that people should be able to refuse service because their customers are gay, or that gender transition shouldn't happen until after 18 because "kids are stupid and don't know what they want".

They have their own ingrained biases, refuse knowledge from actual LGBT people, and then you get these topics. It's been happening for years. That's something you learn having been here this long.

And the fact that you just used "disingenuous" proves that you spend way too much time on CE.

God forbid I use an English word in its proper context. For what reason would TC have to bring up a years old topic, and then refuse to participate thereafter? Heck, we can make another topic about that transgender Canadian cyclist winning last month and it'd be at least more current.

And I'm sorry I triggered you by bringing up furries. Clearly you kinda lose it at that point.
