Topic	Why were people so offended by the veteran being mocked on SNL?

I don't think people were as offended about the eye patch joke as what followed, when Pete said "I know we aren't supposed to make fun of him because he lost his eye in war or whatever." I mean the guy lost his eye when his best friend was blown to a million pieces by an IED right in front of him, that is pretty fucked up, I wouldn't dismiss it as "war or whatever" Yeah, I can't speak on that.
