Topic	Why do people say 'that's offensive' instead of 'I'm offended'?

We just recently had a little national spat over blackface, where some people were insisting that it wasn't offensive anymore, another group of people were disagreeing because they actually did find it offensive still, and then another group that was in agreement with the 2nd group.
