This. Back in the day when Debra would talk about it she'd blame everything on Austin. But I've seen recent interviews with her where she's admitted that she was just as crazy as he was during that point in their lives. She was hopped up on pills and booze and he was hopped up on steroids and booze. That's a recipe for disaster right there. That's not to say getting violent with your wife is acceptable. It's not. But there's no indication that he's some sort of lifelong wife beater.
