I never really had a favorite among OoT bosses, sadly. Even the better ones were like "Oh, this is a neat idea... aaannd it's old already."

Really. They seem to finish really quickly. Like before they even have a chance to get old... At least, thats how I feel, I guess...

Find way to stun, perform stun, hit several times, rinse, lather, repeat. Like, maybe Phantom had the extra step of the already obligatory tennis match (thanks to aLttP and LA) between the arrows and the actual hitting for damage, but that was it with little growth to the arrow shooting phase. Twinrova had a second phase where, once you figured out the main mechanic, you realized there was no other mechanic the remainder of the fight; and a first phase that took away the hitting for damage until the phase transition came. Every fight just followed that formula, and Phantom was maybe the biggest outlier in regards to the boss doing more as the fight progressed. It doesn't help in the final battle when the stun can be skipped by rolling beneath the big guy's legs.

Just... that formula made the bosses all feel old, no matter the mechanic, and the mechanic did a poor job growing. Stun three or four times by doing X action, hit Y number of times (usually around ten with relevant sword, total), grab macguffin, move on.

What I mean is the fights were usually over pretty fast. Most games have boss fights where you hit the glowing spot or find the weak point. It can get old quick for any game. Not just a Zelda games. But I mean that with this game, the boss battles seemed quick. Stun like 2-3 times and its over. I feel like thats barely anytime to get old. Especially the first play-through. Any play through a afterwards, mostly likely depending on the person...
