The idea that Ocarina of Time is overrated is ludicrous.
I agree, in 1998 it really seemed like the most perfectly formed and realised 3D adventure world, and a stunning example of how to reinterpret a 2D franchise into 3D.
But the idea that it hasn't aged substantially in the twenty years since, which some people desperately still claim, is equally ludicrous.
It is an 7/10 adventure game today in 2018.
And that is mighty impressive. Non-retro games, especially early 3D games usually age like egg salad.
