Same here. The reason I liked FF7 so much was because of the materia system. I don't really see how they can implement it well into real-time combat. I imagine it to be a lot more like the junction system of FF8.


Didn't crisis core have a materia system and it was action based? Sure they could improve upon that design. Simple really you equip the materia and either A have a button to toggle through which spell/summon to cast or have a button bring up a wheel where you choose what you want. And of course stuff like 2x cut just works by simply having it equipped.
