It's not unpresedented. There are limits on too much violence in an artistic work, or having sex or swearing before a TV watershed, and you can't put child pornography in films or TV. This would just be an extension of that, but instead of relating to decency standards, it would be about classiness, and also about quantity. I don't think that's a bad thing. I'm providing a legal / sociological justification. It's easier to accept something if it's not completely new, but builds on something that already exists.
