I understand TC, a penny is nothing and the customer could have just walked outside and grab one from the floor or could you just have said w/e and pay it for them However if this happens once, then everyone will just expect the same (racism, sexisms, favoritism, etc) and then you end up with a big problem for just one penny. Has this happened to anyone working cashier? Anyone at all? Most rational people understand that it should not be expected at all. A much smaller number are total shits about it.
