The US will spend $892 BILLION on the military next year, more than the next 9 largest militaries on earth combined! We could easily cut our spending in half and we'd still outspend China, Saudi Arabia, Russia and the UK together. 68% of the discretionary budget goes towards the military! Education gets just 5%. Health 5%. Transportation 2%. Science 2%. Food & Agriculture 1%.
